Set in Munich, Oktoberfest, the undeniable crown jewel of southern Bavaria is to be experienced. It’s larger-than-life, vibrant, intriguing, exciting, and dripping with earthly pleasures and history. When you go there you immediately feel this is something larger and more deeply rooted in Bavarian culture than you could ever imagine or understand with only one visit, which is why we are there for four nights. Oktoberfest is a folk festival with beer, not a beer festival with folks.
