This tour is for people who enjoy lambic, geuze, kriek, Faro, and Flemish Red and Brown ales. It features Toer de Geuze showcasing the members of the HORAL lambic organization. This tour only happens every two years. Don’t miss it! We’ll visit some heritage breweries and some new ones.

In Bamberg and the Franconia region, they call beer gardens beer kellers because many of these forested hillside beer gardens traditionally were (and are) on top the underground cellars where they lagered the beer. Sometimes people will refer to going “on” the beer keller, rather than “to” the beer keller, which when you know the backstory makes sense.
Welcome to the Summer Bierkeller Tour of Bamberg. During this tour the emphasis is on experiencing the ambiance, culture, cuisine, and of course beers, of these famous outdoor Kellers. Locals call it kellering. You’ll love it and wish you had this keller culture where you live!

Best Damn Farmhouse Ale Tour of Belgium & France, April 24-May 2 • New Departure!
Venture into the historic and scenic world of saisons and biére de gardes. Their roots can be traced to rustic ales originally brewed on farms for seasonal workers in this wide area once known as the Kingdom of Flanders (which then included parts of France, Belgium and the Netherlands). On this tour you will experience breathtaking views, scenery, geography and architecture. You’ll enjoy regional cuisine and fine beer beyond compare. We’ll visit some small independent artisanal breweries still located on working farms and sometimes large, modern ones, most situated in scenic countryside locations, where we’ll experience these very satisfying ales in rustic taprooms.
