BBM! Tastings in the United States
“Belgian beers have become fashionable, yet the pleasures they offer have been truly explored by only a minority of drinkers."
--Michael Jackson (Not that Michael Jackson)
BBM! Tastings are structured in the format of a fun beer appreciation class and are currently held in Seattle, Portland, Oregon, San Francisco Bay Area and soon Philadelphia. See schedule below for dates, times and how to register. These beer tastings are great events for couples, singles and as a perfect gift for that beer fan in your life!
Belgium, aka, beer paradise, brews some of the finest beers in the world: Dubbels, Trippels, Trappist, Farmhouse and more. Learn about some of the many different styles of Belgian beer, their history, ingredients, mythology and sample them in an authentic Belgian-style cafe. No experience necessary.
Beer enthusiasts, home brewers and newcomers welcome. Meet some like-minded folks in one fun, informative evening, and experience and appreciate the pleasures of some beers that may change your life!
In Seattle, this Belgian beer appreciation course is offered through the Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW) Experimental College of the University of Washington and is open to everyone. It is lead by Belgian-Beer Enthusiast and home brewer Stu Stuart. Stu has been on the faculty of the ASUW Experimental College for more than 17 years.
Stu is also available to speak to your group on Belgian Beer Appreciation and to lead enthusiastic, informative and entertaining private beer tasting sessions, and beer dinners, (231) 215-0173.
